The Path of Lovers in Ascea Marina is one of the most fascinating and beautiful trekking itineraries in Cilento, in the province of Salerno.

The path starts from the area of ??the Ascea Marina cliff: if you arrive by car, there is also a parking area in the area.
Access to the route is indicated by special signs, right near the cliff, in Punta del Telegrafo: the itinerary is mostly in the shade, is about 2 km long and has a total altitude difference of 140 meters.

Going through it in its entirety, you arrive at the Saracen Tower and, once you have reached the end, you can return to the starting point by retracing the entire path backwards even if there is a plan to build a further stretch in order to close such as a 'ring' the entire stretch.

The Path of Lovers is an easy path suitable for everyone, experienced and less experienced in trekking and excursions; however, it is important to remember that, during the walk, there are two quite steep climbs and it is highly recommended to bring a bottle of water, comfortable shoes and a hat.

The path of lovers in Ascea was inaugurated in 2017 and allows you to enjoy a beautiful panorama between the sea of ??the Gulf of Velia and the Mediterranean scrub.

The route was made accessible to visitors thanks to a redevelopment project of the entire area, by the Municipality of Ascea and the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park.
